Sea Salt with Herbs

Christina Panteleimoniti, Ta Mylelia’s founder and owner, and her husband hand collect this coarse sea salt that accumulates on tidal flats near their home on the Aegean coast. They clean it by hand, dry it, and then combine the salt with black and green peppercorns, oregano, thyme, rosemary and other Greek herbs to create an unsurpassed seasoning.

Rub it in your palm to bring out the aroma of the herbs and add it to any dish to enhance the flavor with a return to simple, flavorful, earthy tastes. Use herbal salt to add pizzazz to your salad dressings and steamed vegetables or as a quick way to flavor chicken, beef, or fish. Also combine it with one of our
olive oils and wine vinegars to make a delicious homemade salad dressing.
